My son running on the beach, enjoy the time you have with them when they are little you blink and they are all grown up. Keep running strong my son.
Love Dad.
Walking to work this morning I saw this Christmas tree infront of a local TV station. The Christmas tree makes the area look a little more festive. I got to thinking many people have taken a picture of this tree. I loved this Christmas tree yet I wanted to do something different, not just add a filter and upload it to Instagram. So I took a moment to walk around the tree to take it all in. I must admit I did feel a litte silly at first. I then saw the building in the background and like how the lines were all converging upwards. So angling myself and ignoring the people who were staring I took the photo.
…and yes added a filter and posted it to Instagram. 🙂
This is not my usual post however it is a great story. My son went on a mission trip this summer to Africa and a local news paper picked up on in.
OSHAWA — An Oshawa teen who went on a life-changing mission to Africa over the summer is now taking his whole family with him on a mission to Mexico over the Christmas holidays.

for the right principles
and in the right way.”

Ever take a photo that just does not look quite right. When this occurs what I like to do is instead of tossing it in the trash bin, I use that image to experiment a little. Try something creative like add different filters in LightRoom or play with it in Photoshop. This is exactly what […]

Here are a few of my experiments for posing wedding rings. I will typically use a large aperture (small number) as it will blur the background and draw the viewer’s eyes to the rings. I also try to capture a feeling with the rings by adding the newlyweds. They are not the main subject of these shots […]
