LaVerne William Wetzel

LaVerne William Wetzel, 84, of Eustis, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015. Born in Cabot, Pennsylvania, he moved to Eustis in 1961 from Hannahstown, Pennsylvania. He was a Math Teacher at Eustis High School from 1961-1994. LaVerne served in the U.S. Air Force during Korea and was a member of St. Philip Lutheran Church, Mount Dora. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Audean Wetzel, Eustis, FL; son, David Wetzel, Jackson, MS; 2 daughters, Denise Crow, Eustis, FL, DeAnn Knudsen, Lakeland, GA; 2 brothers, Carl Wetzel, Butler, PA, Fred Wetzel, Grove City, PA; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at St. Philip Lutheran Church, Mount Dora on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM.
