A funeral service will be held at 5 PM, Monday, April 6, 2015 in the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Margaret was born on December 14, 1961 in Eastman, GA to the late Marion Monk and Margaret Estelle Freeman Monk, who still survives. She was a former nurse at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, GA.
Survivors include her mother, Margaret Estelle Freeman Monk of Centerville, GA; four children, Technical Sgt. Walter Glenn (Courtney) Bridges, Jr. of Charleston, SC, Vickie Lee Parker of Odum, GA, Michael Paul McMillian of Unadilla, GA and Charity Elaine McMillain of Eastman, GA; four step-children, Jimmy Lewis (Arlene) McMillian, Jr., of Unadilla, GA, Terry Robert (Melissa) McMillian of North Augusta, SC, Kimberly (Bobby) Piper of Byron, GA and Tammy Collins of Centerville, GA; two brothers, Jimmy Monk of Warner Robins, GA and Burt Monk of Charleston, SC; five grandchildren, Ashton Bridges, Cole Bridges, D.J. Wright, Lane Bridges and Zane McMillian; eleven grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews also survive. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Monk.
