It's everything you love about Boulderdash, including the tools to create not just your own levels, but entire campaigns - complete with custom intermissions. Nothing is off limits - if it can be done in Boulderdash, you can build it here, then save entire modules to disk for you and other to play.

Utterly essential. A masterpiece of puzzle game design. Even the levels provided with it were fantastic.

I was getting a little fed up of Boulderdash when this appeared so I never really played it as much as the others. The construction kit was a nice touch but I never had the patience to create any levels myself. An OK, if somewhat tired, installment. :|

BDCK is as good as it sounds. There's hundreds, maybe thousands of modules out there made with this. And if you don't feel inspired, there's a really hard set of levels included. A most excellent package and it really felt magical when you bought it, I must say.

In the beginning there was Boulder Dash and Boulder Dash 2. Then they kind of got together and multiplied, and the creators saw it was good, so their offspring multiplied too, the offspring of the offspring multiplied, and this recursive process kept going until
there were many nice Boulder Dash games to play and enjoy.

Now let's ask the following question in the most annoying kid nasal voice: "Is that really the way things happened, mommy? Boulder Dash didn't get multiplied, did it?". To be honest, we have to admit that no, it didn't happen quite that way.

Instead there was thunder and lightning, and the great creators presented us with Boulder Dash Construction Kit, so that everybody could become a bit of a creator and create loads of cool Boulder Dash caves for others to suffer AND enjoy! Brilliant work once again! Well worth of 10 out of 10!

The constuction kit opens a new world for all the Boulderfans. We can create thousands of different caves from easy walkthroughs to very complicated puzzles. Every time you find new tricks, ideas and solutions for caves, which gives every cave its own character. It will never bore you; the longer time you play it, the more interesting it will be! Finally there exist tools for packing our caves together and creating our own games. I'll rate the kit 10 too! It's excellent!

A seperate part with the construction kit. Should have been included in a game of Boulder Dash. (An later improved version like "BabyJack";)

When I first had the Construction Kit on my screen, it was just awesome - I could really create my own caves and easily play them. That was something I had always wanted to do. Unfortunately the Kit has some bugs and is not as user-friendly as one would probably wish. But it's still a great possibility to be creative.

OMG.. It was a dream come true - one of the greatest games in construction kit form - sleepless nights with this one - seriously requires real joystick (none of this analogue crap) - when I closed my eyes eventually all I saw was diamonds boudlers and butterflies - Cannot recommend higly enough - as with the earlier Boulderdash games.

The game was a HUGE part of my childhood while I was very young. Wish I still had a copy

Sopoib! Hours of fun, especially making Rockford navigate a set of boulders cunningly arranged to spell 'ARSEHOLE'.

Fantastic. This Construction Kit just made Boulderdash better than it already is! I must of made about 2000 Caves back then. I remember some ones that really stand out because of the Originatly! So Memoriable nothing could ever beat it!

Construction kit is TH to the 64. Since Boulder Dash is the the most mind demanding game ever to the 64 it is with most pleasure I can surely say that anybody that can master all games is a good gamer, all categories. Boulder Dash is one of the best games ever converted to the 64. All clones suck.

This construction kit is so user friendly I spent many days and hours creating original completable levels. Then u get somebody to play your masterpieces! Best game construction kit ever for the C64

Sad but true: i used to devote many hours to devising tricky levels to ensnare fellow players... A great utility essential for those who loved just playing this brilliant series.
