Kona Precept DL (2014)

An entirely new model for 2014, the Precept DL is best described as the entry-level version of our brand-new Process bikes. Race enduro, ride singletrack all day, enjoy amazing descents: this bike can do it all. Using our Swinger Suspension and 27.5-inch wheels, the Precept DL has a lot of the same modern features as the Process: direct-mount front derailleur, dropper-post cable routing and a full complement of cartridge bearings. It even has similar geometry to the Process 134: same BBH, same chainstay length and same 68-degree headtube angle. With RockShox suspension front and rear, and a capable trail cockpit (60mm stem, 740mm bar), for the money, the Precept DL might be the most ripping trail bike ever.
