  • How often should I practice to see change? You won't see change after one class, you have to come a lot in the beginning in order to find a class that feels comfortable to you, meet our teachers, and get acclimated to the class.

  • Starting a Bikram Hot Yoga and Inferno Hot Pilates practice will be the best thing you'll ever do. Our friendly and supportive teachers and staff are here to welcome and guide you!
  • Our $49 introduction special is one month of unlimited yoga for new students. Click here to purchase online or you can purchase at either studio.
  • New Students please arrive 20 – 30 minutes before your first class.

  • Bring a yoga mat, large towel and water - these items can also be rented /purchased at our studios.

  • Dress in stretchy, comfortable workout/yoga clothing that you can sweat in. Preferably no long pants or long sleeves.

  • Be fully hydrated for your class with a relatively empty stomach. A glass of hot water first thing in the morning is a great way to start hydrating - and sipping water throughout the day. You will start to get into a good eating and hydrating routine. (if you have questions about this please let us know!)

  • Minimum age limit is 13 years old for the full class, but children under 11 can join in on the floor series for $5. They love it! Anyone under the age of 18 years old must have a parent or legal guardian’s signature to participate before their first class.

  • We do not require you to sign-up online. Just come and sign-in when you get there.

  • If you have a heart condition or are pregnant, please bring a doctor's note. Women who have a regular Bikram Yoga practice before they get pregnant can continue to practice after their first trimester with permission from their doctor. There is a Bikram Yoga pregnancy series that is very beneficial.

I'm a beginner, can I come to any class?

Yes! All of our classes are beginner classes and suitable for all types, and yet is challenging for even the most advanced practitioner. You start where you're at! Anybody can do it — any size, shape, condition or background. You may drop in for any class, no reservations are required. Visit our Schedule & Rates page for information on class times.

What if I’m not flexible?

Perfect! This yoga is for you! This is the most common misconception that prevents people from coming to yoga classes. Yoga is not about how flexible you are, it’s about stretching your body and spine to develop and increase your flexibility to keep you as young and healthy as you can be. We are all different, but this yoga will help us all.

Where can I purchase my $49 introduction month?

You can purchase your $49 introduction month online by clicking here or in person at one of our studios. Please arrive 20 – 30 minutes before your first class.

 

What if I have injuries or illnesses? What if I am pregnant?

Please inform the teacher if you have had surgery or have any conditions, injuries or illnesses. You will most likely be able to practice, but the teacher must be aware so that he or she can help you with specific postures. Over time with a regular practice you will see great results. If you are pregnant, please bring a doctor's note.

How often should I come?

Come as often as you can. As a beginner do your second class within 24 hours of your first class and do your first 10 classes as quickly as possible. To see maximum benefits from Bikram Yoga, a regular practice of 3 to 4 times per week or at least 10 times a month is suggested. The more you do it, the quicker you will see feel the benefits and see the results!

Can I lose weight doing Bikram Hot Yoga?

Weight normalization is one of many benefits of Bikram Yoga. As a beginner, it takes about 3 classes for your body to understand the proper approach to the postures. During the next 10 classes, digestion and respiration, as well as endocrine, lymphatic and elimination systems will begin to work harmoniously. Your appetite will normalize and unhealthy cravings will diminish. All of these results will help to normalize your weight if you devote yourself to regular practice at least, but preferably more than, 3 times per week. Also make sure to eat 2 - 3 health meals per day, don't eat late at night and sip on hot water or ginger tea.
