The agriturismo

Wonderful 18th century villa set in idyllic surrounding of woods, meadows, vineyards and olive-groves at the hills of Florence, near gateway to Chianti, with swimming pool, small lake and horses.

The accommodation

The main house of Villa Poggio di Gaville offers 12 double rooms on two floors, with colour TV and individual heating.
 There is no air conditioning in the rooms because evening in the hot summer season the rooms remain delightfully cool.

Double standard

All rooms have typical Tuscan furniture, wooden wardrobes and wrought iron beds, terracotto floors (partly in their original state) and wooden-beamed ceilings. Private bathroom, colour TV and individual hitting.

Double Superior
The two Double Superior rooms both have typical Tuscan furniture, wooden wardrobes and wrought iron four-poster bed and a 25 sqm wide panoramic terrace. In these rooms a third bed can be added (surcharge). Private bathroom, colour TV and individual heating.

First the positive- We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights. We had dinner 1 night which was fabulous! Samir and her dad were great hosts. The setting is wonderful.

I have been managing Villa Poggio Di Gaville since 2009 along with my daughter.
We take care of: we cook for the guests, we welcome the guests, we run the courses.
It was a desire to to meet new and interesting people all the time which led me to run an agriturismo.
Our guests especially like the warm family welcome.
