Relocation
Moving to a new place is hard. We all want to live in a neighborhood that is crime free, quiet, and well maintained. Neighbor Report lets you view complaints filed with your city's 311 line or submitted by our users. This includes code violations, reports of garbage not being removed, malfunctioning lights, broken windows, or loud music. Knowing a neighborhood's history in advance can help you avoid many problems.
Current Neighbors
Explore the local community. Get to know your future neighbors. Neighbor Report is a place where residents can share advice and recommendations, alert each other to problems and issues, and resolve disputes peacefully. We think that the current residents of a neighborhood are the most accurate source of information about it.
Anonymity
If you live in a neighborhood or community that is ultra conservative or simply dangerous, you may feel fearful or threatened when you share a complaint, comment, or opinion. But how can we fix a problem, if we aren’t talking about it freely? We believe that anonymity is crucial to freedom and universal progress. We don't endorse reports and comments, but we believe in giving every voice a chance to be heard. Discuss your community's problems without revealing your name.
Complaints to
311 / 911 services
Hundreds of thousands of code violation reports and 311 complaints are received by American cities each year. Many cities post this data on their websites in machine-readable formats—large CSV files, datasets, etc. We use 311 reports data to create a neighborhood portrait. This allows us to highlight the most typical problems faced by local residents. Use Neighbor Report to get familiar with the neighborhood—you may find info about problems that a real estate agent might not mention.

A Mr. Lessard owns this house now and is dangerously psychotic, he has been baker acted at least once before by the police. He is armed, explosive, violent, vindictive and extremely paranoid. Avoid this person if you can.
The neighbor that lives here has a motor home in front of her house on the lawn that is backed up to the front door.
1202 E 29th St Marion Indiana just hacked into my Walmart app and tried to buy stuff with my card, but was dumb enough to leave their address on the order.
3141 Heglis ave, Rosemead There is a older son that acts like a teenager he owns a Mercedes class A car red and black sun roof and thinks this street is his personal racetrack by driving speeds way over 35 on a curve with a blind spot if your driving fast you won't have time to stop or slow down.Ive seen accidents with cars and motorcycles taking the turn fast and lucky nobody has died, just badly injured. Also on this block alot of people walk their animals, jog, ride bikes, and even children running around i'm afraid one day there will be something bad happen
My delivery was delivered to this address by accident not once but twice and they took both packages. I have multiple pictures of my delivery at their front porch and forming a case on them with law enforcement. I tried going to their house ringing the door bell and even knocking but no answer. The lights in the house are on and car is parked in the drive way.
I’ve had a terrible time dealing with Cathi. Too many issues.. She has been complained about at HOA meetings and couldn’t defend herself. Seems to think rules don’t apply to her.
suspicious car with expired indiana plates
Block has rats. They're borrowing into basements and undoing hard work
EXTREMELY LOUD PARTY. UNNECESSARILY LOUD MUSIC & SCREAMING CHILDREN & GUESTS BLOCKING NEIGHBOR'SDRIVEWAYS. IT'S BEEN GOING ON FOR HOURS
The building I live in is quiet, the neighbors are cool,as far as fellow tenants go.. But the neighborhood itself is in MS- 13 territory. What is needed is more police patrols, and neighborhood watch programs. I can't blame homeless people, who usually keep to themselves. The real problem with having homelessness is, the rents are too high, because of too few rentals. We have a permanent housing shortage. Keep in mind that apartments stopped getting built, by 1980, while the population kept growing, both due to births and immigration. For 43 years, while housing stock wasn't built to keep up with all these people. Back when I was young, you didn't see homeless people, because rents were abundant and cheap, back in the sixties and seventies ! Rents are high because of supply versus demand ,and a massive building campaign to create housing, especially affordable housing, would end homelessness for good. The homeless population that has drug, and alcohol issues, or mentally ill, they need good rehabilitation centers, and hospitals for those who are mentally ill,and can't be cured. So that's a different situation, as many homeless people have jobs, no addiction problem, but ty out never hear about them, since they don't make waves. But they ARE homeless, ONLY because of the high market rate rents ! When seeing a homeless person, keep these facts in mind. The area near 8th Street, Vermont Ave., James M. Woods, Virgil Ave.,are all in MS - 13 territory. Be careful when removing graffiti ! Try to do it when those guys are in bed,if you can.
The guy that lives there yells and slams doors. He really needs to move back in with his family. Be careful.
That would neighborhood is like that!! I lived on the corner of Rumney and a cross street right in that area. I moved to Medford. I couldn't stand every other word out of everybody's mouth is f*ck,f+ck,f*ck!!! Sorry to tell you Revere but the majority including landlords need manner lessons! The only thing about living that was a positive was it's locality to to Rt.1. Now I'm a Rt.93: don't and my well being is just swell.

About us
Neighbor Report is a result of creativity and hard work from a small team of developers, one of whom is extremely passionate about data science. Official data (311 reports, code violations) speak about a city's problems more eloquently than any journalist. We see crime on the rise, an aging infrastructure, and a disastrous lack of funding. Our users' comments and reports amplify the picture with new data that the authorities may not know yet.
