Spring in An Imperfect Garden. Everything is lush, growing taller and becoming overgrown. This is a call to all gardeners not to be too tidy with the beds and borders and to leave areas of lawn uncut. To embrace self sown plants, otherwise known as weeds, amongst what was planted deliberately. They are so important for nature and so beautiful.

I am a visual artist using photography as my medium. The perception of reality is a recurring theme. My sole current ongoing project is about the garden. It investigates how relinquishing the notion of control can be at the centre of an artist's work. The garden utilises the wabi sabi principles of embracing the natural, the imperfect and the impermanent.

My work has been published and exhibited internationally.
