Was not expecting that on my first read. By my last umpteenth read I could focus more on the character interactions as secrets were revealed.

I actually picked it before I got to that part. But that's because Nora is very clever with the way she drops those little hints without actually spoiling it. But when I read it I became so excited!!! They all have secrets and you get frustrated with the characters for not just being open and honest. But at the same time you completely understand why they hold back. So when one of their secrets are revealed it's very exciting!!!

Read this trilogy "forever" ago & still remember the story. Loved the characters.

I think my reaction was a mix between I knew it and awesome! I love the relationship between Sawyer and Riley!

I love Rileys attitude. And Sawyer has a wicked sense of humour. They bicker like "family" 🤣

I imagine if I were a Lycan in the nature of Riley and her pack…the whole werewolf myth would annoy the hell outta me. She cracks me up.

Definitely clues leading up to this revelation. Loved how Riley corrected Sawyer with lycan not werewolf. I get his reaction. Legends/folklore is only a kernel of truth for what is reality for these characters

The first time I read The Guardians Trilogy. In the first book, I was surprised that she was a Lycan.

I admit, I often got Riley and Sawyer flipped on my head. They are so much alike.

In this trilogy Riley was my favorite character. I loved her sass and ability to procure what they needed, when needed (loved that because my dad was supply/store keeper in the Navy and was the same way). She was also a superb friend to the other 5.

This series has so many great lines.

I love Riley's directness. Sasha needed a friend who was direct with her. These two characters compliment each other's strengths so well in this series. The sense of fun and seriousness is well balanced in this series in my opinon.

This was a good one!! I love the sister like friendship between Riley and Sasha.

I am almost finished with the Percy Jackson series and this is the next on my reading list. I have read this series at least two times and am ready to re-read it again.

Riley so worldly and Sasha starts out so naive because she has beaten down her gifts for so long. Riley’s compassion tempered with a bit of humor is just what Sasha needs.

Riley is the perfect friend for an introvert. She respects Sasha for all the wonderful parts of her. She's a great friend.

The interactions between Sasha and Riley are absolutely hilarious. The dreamy seer and the practical werewolf shifter would set up some really good exchanges between the two.

Poor Sasha - so much for her to unload. Good thing she’s got Riley!!

Riley is the perfect friend for Sasha. She helps her to come out of her shell and realize she wasn't really living before.

Just started reading this (again).

I just finished the series today for maybe the fourth time. I am always amazed by Nora's imagination and her knowledge of everything.

It was a lot of fun reading about the team growing into a team and how each team member became the best representation of themselves.

This is literally my second favorite series Nora Roberts wrote…I have read it so many times. My favorite series is the jewels of the sun series…that series I’ve read at least five times. Still love it. Never gets old. I wait a few years then read it again lol…

Sasha becomes the pivotal heroine of the story in such a solid way it reminds me of one of Nora‘s and my personal favorite authors, Mary Stewart. …her heroines all thought they couldn’t do some thing and they prove time and again that they have courage they don’t even know about! This is such a stellar trilogy !

I'm about halfway through my current reread of this series. Sasha is coming into her own nicely. I love the way she's integrating natural talent and dream memory with her training.

It’s amazing to read how much growth that came into Sasha. When Riley teaches Sasha how to fight and not the girly fight, but strength and to not be afraid to fight.

Like Bran said, a few chapters ago, Sasha was the bravest - she had the biggest leap forward.
