Destination Services

Arrival

Temporary living accommodations: either in the context of a short assignment or for transitory use during the home search, FRS can coordinate the search and contractual procedures for temporary accommodation

Home search: based on the individual requirements and needs of the client, FRS will help refine the search area, and select matching properties to show during an accompanied house hunting tour. Help for the selection of the property, based on the extensive property market knowledge of our consultants, negotiations – both for the conditions and the contract, administrative help concerning the duties of the future tenant,… FRS will be able to guide the client serenely through the procedure of obtaining the keys of the chosen property.

Settling-in services: from opening a bank account, to connecting the utilities, internet/TV, registering with a national health insurance, FRS will be able to inform the client about the necessary steps to be taken and of course help the client to register.

During-stay 

During stay support : managing the daily life issues related to the rented property, such as technical help for breakdowns of appliances, insurance claims, finding an appropriate gardening service,… we can help with solutions but also be a source of information about the rights and duties of all concerned parties.

Departure

Departure service: ensuring a smooth departure by managing lease terminations, check out surveys, termination of all utilities and lease related contract, as well as handling the deregistration at the commune and following up until the return of the rental deposit.

Immigration Services

FRS will analyze the appropriate immigration procedure on case by case basis. We can assist with the following procedures: 

• Visa assistance : FRS can provide the procedural information and coordinate the visa applications

• Work permit applications: instructions and guidance for the gathereing of the necessary documents, and applying for the work permit

• Residence Permit: we can help with the procedure to obtain a residence permit in Belgium, by informing about the required documents and assisting at the local municipality to carry out the procedure successfully. 

• Driver’s license exchange: If applicable, FRS can also guide through the procedure for the driver’s license exchange

• Limosa registrations: FRS can apply for the mandatory L1 certificate for seconded employees.
