About My Practice

I own my own firm, Moody Family Law, PLLC, where I practice exclusive practice in family law, i.e. divorce, child custody, child support, spousal maintenance, property division, etc. I am based in Hastings, MN, but have cases in many different counties.

Professional Values

My goal is to resolve my client's issues with as little litigation and court involvement as possible. Excessive litigation and court involvement only increases the tensions between the parties and makes the process more expensive. I will do everything we can to settle our client's case as quickly, amicably and cost-effectively as possible in order to save then time, emotional turmoil and expensive legal fees. Of course, this is not always the case; sometimes a case simply cannot be resolved without litigation. When that happens, my clients can be assured that I am an experienced litigator and will aggressively litigate their case in order to reach the best possible resolution for them and their family.
