The West Side Alumni Foundation, Inc. (WSAF) was established to raise funds and to provide support to the students and facility of the West Side Leadership Academy (WSLA), formerly West Side High School. The City of Gary, and consequently WSLA, have fallen on hard times. The local tax base, state and federal funding are not adequate to keep the school in good condition. Additionally, the quality of education and rating of the school must improve. Cougar pride is waning. WSLA students need our help!
If the thousands of alumni, current students, former and current administrators, teachers, staff, and friends of West Side make a contribution, West Side will be restored to greatness and WSLA will be one of the best high schools in the nation. Help us make a difference and bring the pride back! These young lives matter.

To provide funding, support and lasting solutions for the students of West Side Leadership Academy that will strengthen their academic, athletic, and social experiences.
