SG April '15 Day 3

April 12, 2015

Last day of our weekend getaway was Mommy's day, which means SHOPPING. Yey!

Ginger had ballet classes and everyone went with her. Since the school was a few minutes from Orchard, we hitched with the family and they dropped us off at ION Orchard.

I brought you makeup shopping and you didn't like it. Look at that face! Lol.

Not even this humongous pepperoni pizza cheered you up. 

It was scorching hot outside the streets and seemed like the whole population of the little big city decided to go shopping that day! After 3 malls, you asked if we can go somewhere there were less people.

I decided for us to go the mall near where we stay, JUNCTION 8.

You loved this Milo Dinosaur - which reminds me of this lady who sat with us. All the tables were taken so when Mommy saw her looking around, I volunteered the seat next to us since it was just us two. She kept on saying how handsome you were and you thanked her. She asked where your dad was and that you should come to SG with him next time. You told her you had a Daddy, and that she wasn't speaking with you Lola. Haha. TMI Anak :)

The only meal in SG Mommy enjoyed, Prata from Prata Wala. This is a favorite!

Of course, Mommy won't let you go home without something you like. We bought the Minecraft set being the nut that you are :))

We bumped into Tito Walter and Pepper in the mall. I went around shopping while you and Pepper played in this playground. Okay, another side story. We were in the car, waiting for Ginger from her Mandarin class when you told Pepper how beautiful she was. Tito Walter and I were listening and as I looked at Pepper, she was looking at you, affirming your compliment with lashes batting. I was giggling inside!

I love you, 'nak. I hope we made lasting memories you will treasure forever. Mommy wants you to experience the life Daddy and Lola made me and Tita Kaye experience when we were young.

SG April '15 Day 2

Today, you got to mingle with Tita Steph's kids at home. You didn't have the chance to meet the day before because we came in late and they left early for school. 

We went to Gardens by the bay to feed your curious mind. 

It was so cold inside. Buti na lang, mommy brought your jacket! 

They were having tulips, and they were all beautiful. It may not have been your thing but you immensely enjoyed the company. 

We did have another misunderstanding though. You didn't want me to take your picture when I asked you to pose. It upset mommy, so I roamed alone while you chose to run around with Kuya Jameel. 

You saw me sad while you were playing hide and seek. You went to me and asked what was wrong. I told you I just wanted to take your picture so I would have a lot to look at when I'm bored at work. 

You walked by me and left the game. They thought thtey lost you and was about to ask the security for a search. 

Anyway...

We patched things up and went to the nearby water park.

You enjoyed this immensely. 

We stayed here for quite a while till your lips turned purple. Lol. I dried you up and we then went to the treehouse nearby. 

Capped the night off with dinner at Satay by the Bay where you just ate Fried Chicken. Tsk, you picky eater you.  

When we reached home, you and your friends still had the energy to watch the lego movie.  Grabe ha! I was drained from the walk alone. I don't know where you kids get it :)

SG April '15 Day 1

Hi 'nak! We spent the weekend in Singapore just as I promised. You are currently in your dinosaur phase so I took it as a chance to bring you to Jurassic Park in Universal Studios. It was so surreal watching your jaw drop in front of it. 

Here you are, excitedly prancing towards the humungous globe. 

I made you navigate to The Lost World, and might I say you were great at it. We share the same love for maps!

Look at that smile! I was close to crying seeing you appreciate this. 

You made him go away so you could have a picture with the T-Rex. Lol. 

You were plastered after the first day. :))

Sick

Hi nak! Today, mommy wasn't able to go to work. I woke up a bit dizzy. I rushed to the loo to let out the nastiest poop ever. I know, gross. Lol.

I went to the hospital and you insisted to come. Since I wasn't feeling well, you took the initiative to dress  up, pack a jacket and even fill up water for yourself. I was so proud of you. 

In the hospital, you were your usual self, busy with the iPad. But when you saw me having chills, you tucked me in the blanket and made sure I was warm and comfortable. Thank you anak. I felt so loved. 

The whole time we were in the hospital, I was thinking about our trip to Singapore the next day. Mommy really really wants to push through. I really want us to have time together. 

Gross!!!

We went to the ear doctor today. Mommy doesn't trust myself enough to poke through your ear for the big gunk inside.

Gross, right? And that's just from one ear. 

Easter '15

You had so much fun today at Dreamplay anak. You, me and lola went 2 hours before they closed. 

Here's Vince, a friend you met at one of the many playgrounds there. I love how you easily make friends anywhere you go. You introduce me to them with so much pride. Thank you for doing that. 

We had a misunderstanding on the way home. I wanted you to remove your shirt and use your jacket instead. You did not want. I feel like you disrespected me by not doing what I said. When we went to the car, I didn't let you use the iPad. You slept all the way home with the most defiant face. 

I got hurt. You got hurt. I hope tonorrow will be another day.
