The Dallas Mexican American Historical League

The Dallas Mexican American Historical League (DMAHL) is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to researching, collecting, and preserving the historical and cultural experiences of Mexican Americans in Dallas from the early 1900s to the present.

By educating the public through programs, exhibits, forums, and publications, DMAHL is committed to fostering a greater understanding of the contributions of the Mexican American community to the city.

DMAHL members work to conserve the history of our community through digitization projects, helping individuals and families preserve their history and ensuring that these digitized photographs are available to researchers, students, and members of the general public through our archival collection at the Dallas Public Library.

Our organization has collaborated with local and state-wide non-profits, colleges and universities, school districts, and city governments on various projects and events dedicated to historical preservation and Mexican American history.
