Cartoon for Sampol by Arnulf

Arnulf.be is the pseudonym of the Belgian cartoonist and comic artist Arnout Fierens. He is specialized in cartoons about work, business, the environment, health, politics, arts & culture and diversity. He has been drawing for businesses, unions, provinces, municipalities, regional and federal governments and various organizations in the social, cultural and political field. He was cartoonist for the student's magazine VETO of the KU Leuven, together with cartoonists like NIX, between 1989 and 1992.

He published the cartoon and comic book 'De draak, de ketters en de geit', a story about the global war for jobs, with Erik Paredis in 1998. Between 1998 and 2008 he drew about political affairs for the monthly Samenleving & Politiek, better known as Sampol. A compilation of his work was released in 2003: '10 Jaar Samenleving en Politiek in Beeld'. He was illustrator and cartoonist for Eigen Aard, later Vrouwen met Vaart, between 2004 and 2012. He publishes his work in Dutch, French, English and German.
