Teresa Ann McCrary, age 50, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Teresa was born on February 24, 1965 in Columbia, Tennessee to the late Johnnie Ann Scott. Teresa married Garth McCrary on September 30, 1983. They were married for thirty-one years and shared two children together. Teresa loved her family, especially her grandson Brayden, they were her world. She enjoyed listening to her family make music. Teresa loved music, dancing, shopping with Brayden, talking on the phone, watching The Voice, and the ocean. She had two “Grand- beagles” Mason and Winnie. She was full of light, resilience, and strength. Teresa was a servant to all, selfless to all, was always helping, and put others before herself. She was loved by all who knew her. Teresa worked at Maury Regional Medical Center as an Endoscopy Technician. She was known as a hard-worker and her co-workers thought of her as family. Above all, Teresa loved her Lord Jesus Christ.
The family will visit with friends on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will follow at Theta Baptist Cemetery.
Teresa is survived by her husband Garth McCrary of Mt. Pleasant; son Justin (Shannon) McCrary of Murfreesboro; daughter Haley McCrary of Mt. Pleasant; grandson Brayden McCrary of Mt. Pleasant; and sisters Pam Douglas Huckaby and Regina (Adam) Kinney.
Teresa was preceded in death by her mother Johnnie Ann McCrary.
Pallbearers will be Garth McCrary, Justin McCrary, Ricky Scott, Adam Kinney, Eric Kennedy, and Trenton Vandiver.
Honorary Pallbearers are Brian Huckaby, Colton Wiss, and Keaton Kinney.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Teresa to Theta Baptist Cemetery, c/o Judy Poynor, 2229 Les Robinson Road, Columbia, Tennessee 38401.
