STORE UPDATE

Two years after we reopened our doors to the public (March 2022), we finally switched our COVID dutch door (pictured right) back to our glass door in May 2024. We loved our little walk up window but it didn’t serve it’s purpose anymore after we reopened our doors. It caused so much confusion for folks who wanted to come in and didn’t know if they could (you could!). Anyway, some good things that came from the pandemmy: You can now place your order by walking in, online preorder, shipments, and doordash delivery - so many options!

As always, we look forward to seeing you in store.

ABOUT THE STORE

We operate fully in our 166 square foot store. Humidity and wet weather are a huge factor in our baking. You’ll notice our door remains closed to try to keep a consistent baking environment. We ask that you please do not hold the door open (please no conversations between the door, or taking a peak at the store with the door open) - please step in to take a look (we won’t bite!), browse, shop, ask questions. We keep the door closed to try to keep a consistent baking environment.

Our macarons are fresh by baking every single day we are open. We sell through our flavors often, so you’ll never have to be concerned about freshness.

We serve bottled and canned refreshments and rotate our made in house drink selections.

PARKING

There are metered parking spaces in Union Square. However, they are limited and a hot commodity. We do recommend that you bike, walk, take public transportation or use a ride share app if you’re able to. On Sundays, parking is free!

DIRECTIONS

We created a cute directions page for you as we know that it can be tough to navigate the area with the construction and the market being pulled back from the street. Please visit macaboston.com/directions for further details. You can also get to us by the newly opened Union Square T Stop on the green line!
