I’ll get right to the point.
As you may or may not know, there is a huge password reset email problem withing Origin. They can’t fix it for a LOOOOOOOONG time even tough there are myriad of complaints about this issue.
Problem: My brother has realized that he can’t log in my Origin account, and/or my password suddenly changed (arguably because of a hacker, a bug, or a tease of a friend etc.) I tried to reset his password but I no way receive any e mail from Origin. I thought it was because of an hacker who has changed the password and the email, therefore the reset email don’t arrive at the mail box. But I was wrong to think it was an hacker because I don’t receive any email as well. I searched forums to check whether there is similar problems other people experience, so that I could find some solution. But, no, hell no. There is no solution. A few says they’ve managed to change their password with phone support but I have no idea about how they’ve done it.
Solution:
1-) Go to http://www.swtor.com/
2-) Create a new account.
3-) After you’ve created an account, log in and go to Star Wars: The Old Republic | Log in
4-) Enter the e-mail address WHICH YOU USE FOR THE ORIGIN. Let’s say your Origin account’s email is blabla@blabla.com. The email that you have to put in the blank field is “blabla@blabla.com”
5-) Click the button “Save”.
6-) Log out.
7-) Go to the log-in page again.
Click on “Forgot your SWTOR.COM password?”
9-) Type in your e-mail address
10-) Go to your inbox or spam folder or whatever and find the email which comes from SWTOR (Star Wars The Old Republic)
11-) Follow email’s directions/instructions and reset your password. The moment you reset your SWTOR password, your Origin password will ALSO be reset.
12-) Freedom.
