What happens?

When you try to download a series of updates for Windows Vista error code 80070652 appears and then the updates cannot be installed. If you repeat the process you get the same error code and the updates will not download.

The error problem is caused by software conflicts in your programs or by files that have become corrupt in software applications. The error can also be caused by unknown issues with your PC’s operating system.

One of the methods you can use to try and solve the error problem is to press the CTRL and ALT keys at the same time and then press the Delete key separately. This will open the Task Managerwindow. When the Task Manager window opens click on the Processes tab and then choose Show processes from all users.Click on the Image Name list and this will sort the list in alphabetical order making it easier for you to find the files you need to locate. Once the process is finished you should find two files in the list called msiexec.exe. Click on the first msiexec.exefile and then choose End Process on the lower part of the Task Manager window. Click on the second msiexec.exe file and then click on End Process again. Close the Task Manager window when you are finished.

Click on Start on your main toolbar and choose Control Panel from the menu. Click on Security and then on Check for Updates and finally Install Updates. You should be able to get around the error this way and install updates.
