SIP & Calls from mobile devices

• How to call from mobile phones?

  We use Adobe Flash technology in the website. Some mobile vendors do not allow to install Flash player plugin, however you can always make a call using SIP technology. For example, this guide gives a brief introduction.

• What is SIP?

  SIP allows you to make calls not only from the browsers, but also from mobile devices and Windows. Refer to the Android, Windows integration guide for details.

  With SIP you can make calls to any phone number around the world, not depending on your fixed or cellular operator. You can use any device connected to the Internet.

• Why should I use SIP?

  Usually the quality of the call with SIP is slightly better than call from the browser.

• What codecs do you support for SIP?

  For SIP gateway we support G.711 mulaw, G.711 alaw, G.729 and SPEEX codecs.

• How can I configure my hardware or software to setup a connection using SIP Gateway?

  Go to the SIP Gateway page and choose an instruction from the left side of it. Currently we provide instructions only for a limited number of softwares. Come back to the page in the future to see the updates.

• Can I connect to your SIP Gateway by using static IP address?

  Right now it’s a custom feature. Write us to [email protected].

• Do you support T.38 Fax?

  No, we don’t but we will in the nearest future. Please use over the top fax services (G.711 Fax).
