Nick specializes in commercial law and transport law, in particular the carriage by sea, inland waterway transportation, road carriage (CMR), rail transport and air carriage.

His area of expertise also includes contract law and civil law in general.

In addition, Nick has experience in all aspects of international trade, logistics service agreements and insurance matters.

Education

Nick graduated in 2010 at the Law Faculty of the University of Antwerp as a Master of Law, with a major in commercial, economic and company law and a minor in civil law. In 2011, he obtained an advanced Master in Maritime and Transport Law. Nick is an attorney at law at Bettens De Cocker Van Hemelen since August 2011 and is a member of the Antwerp Bar. In 2016 he was invited to join the Arnecke Sibeth Dabelstein Shipping and Marine Insurance Scholarship in Hamburg.
