Progresterone cream a must or avoid?

#1

I have been reading in here that PC is a must to support NBE especially those using PM. Actually PC users are women who are in menopause stage or perimenopause. And i also read in one of the thread here saying that If we use PC , we could face early menopause. Meaning that our menopause could come earlier.

Anybody can enlighten me on these? Almost bought but im still doing research here and there Huh

Dfleurs, don't believe everything you hear on BN, there's so many variables why we need progesterone, which btw it's also a precursor hormone.

Yes the more I dig the more controversial it is LOL. Just curious, you ever sent me the link on where to apply PC. But for yourself, where do you apply it? In boobies areas or the thigh area?

In my opinion a safer option would be to take Vitex. It will boost your own progesterone production. Vitex works by shifting the hormonal balance away from excess estrogen in favor of progesterone. I haven't heard too many good things about PC, even if it's bioidentical, since your body might rely on it if you continue to use it for a longer period of time and thereby stop produce its own progesterone.

Hmmm it makes sense too, there is a chance that our body stop producing it. For Vitex, do you take it everyday? What brand are you using? Peggy, since you are here , may i ask , do you still using the busy roller? And do you use any oil with it?

Progesterone stops further development of endometrial cells. Many women are using Natural Progesterone Cream to help treat Endometriosis. I just want to say that it must for those who need it.

I ordered Vitex from mountainroseherbs. It's the powdered chaste tree berries (4 oz). I take only a pinch of it, once a day since I read the dosage should be low. I take it since 9 days only, that's why I cannot speak from experience, yet.

Yes I still use the bust roller, twice a day, without oil. Smile

Well I think it depends on your hormonal situation. For me PC it's what gives me the best results, but I have low progesterone levels, and I apply it only during luteal. For the rest of the cycle I take vitex or DQ to target progesterone. So far, in my case, boosting progesterone is the way to go. I've tried PM years ago and had no results. Now it makes sence, I've tested my hormones and even having low levels of E I have even lower levels of P. Have you tested your hormones?
