Install flac.exe
The AlbumPlayer has no native support for FLAC encoding but can use the
flac.exe command line encoder to do the encoding. To be able to use
flac.exe it needs to be installed (copied) into the AlbumPlayer
installation directory. Please follow the following steps.
- Download flac.exe from here: http://www.free-codecs.com/FLAC_download.htm
- Save the zip file and open it.
- Execute the flac-1.2.1b.exe, it will install flac tools in C:\Program
Files\Flac
- Copy the flac.exe from C:\Program Files\Flac to the AlbumPlayer
installation directory. Most common location is: C:\Program
Files\AlbumPlayer.
After these steps it must be possible to encode to FLAC using the
AlbumPlayer.
