Accomodations
Down from the Strobel plateau near the Lake, about 500 yards or so, you will find the Cottage. Water is supplied from a natural spring that is located behind the cabin. Recently built, it has an area of 500 square foot, 45 square meters, distributed in a large main room with 4 beds, a dining room and bathroom. The heating is by fuel wood stove. Inside, you will enjoy magazines, photos, TV, DVD player, tying bench, and PC. Cabin for 6max. Satellite Internet: Internet service is free, and you have WiFi. They may use both the PC and connect with your own laptop. You may use Skype.

Length of Trip
Day 1: Arrive in El Calafate Check in at Hotel and dinner.
Day 2: 08:00AM; after breakfast land transfer to the lake. Fishing in the lake is trhu 09:30PM due to the latitude and the Summer sunlight.
Day 3: Breakfast. Fishing the lake until lunch. Afternoon, fishing until dinner time.
Day 4: Breakfast. Fishing the lake until lunch. Afternoon, fishing until dinner time.
Day 5: Breakfast. Fishing the lake until lunch. Transfer back to departing city Hotel and dinner.
Day 6: Breakfast and transfer to airport for the flight back to Buenos Aires.

Fishing
The fishing due to this factor is wading from the coast. The cost line is rocky and in some areas you can wade about 20 feet into the lake. The lake has an incredible shrimp like population the trout feeds constantly on, thus the size of the fish.

Weather
Mainly cold and windy. The conditions usually change rapidly. Expect a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions. The sun and the wind is very strong in Patagonia. This is the Patagonian desert, and the climate is semi arid with little rain. It is much more mild and temperate in January and February, but not less windy.
